Groot Constantia is South Africa’s oldest wine estate and has been producing award winning wines for over 330 years. The wine farm remains fully operational and is one of South Africa’s most popular tourist attractions.
Jonkershuis Constantia is a family-run Bistro restaurant by the Manor House at the heart of the historic estate. The restaurant is surrounded by ancient oak trees.

Groot Constantia is open from 09:00 to 17:00, seven days a week. The estate is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Pricing and payment methods
For a single journey to Groot Constantia, the price is from R350. The price for a return trip is from R700. We accept South African rand and all major currencies (EUR, GBP, USD). There are no deposits, advanced payments or booking fees required – simply pay the driver at the end of the tour.
There is no entrance fee for the wine estate itself. The entrance fee for the Manor House museum is remarkable value at R30 for adults and R15 for children. Cellar tours with wine tasting are available from R100 per person. Cellar tours are also available without the wine tasting for R50 per person.
